Stamford’s 2023 Thanksgiving Parade Spectacular and its giant balloons to hit the street Nov. 19.The yearly event is best known for its collection of giant children’s character balloons including Bob the Builder, Daniel Tiger, Elmo, Oscar the Grouch, Mr. Potato Head, Peppa Pig and more. In all, there will be 14 giant helium balloons on display this year. The day before the parade, there will be a “Balloon Inflation Party” from 3 to 6 p.m. at the intersection of Hoyt and Summer streets, featuring live music and a special appearance by Santa.

Cody and Cara have a ten-year-old daughter that loves to wear make-up. She is in fifth grade. She has been begging her parents to let her wear make-up to school, and Cara thinks it’s okay. She does it tastefully, not over the top, and if it gives her confidence and she feels pretty, why not? Cody thinks that their daughter is still a child, and wearing make-up, in public, this early is a terrible look for them as a parents. (38:21)
