Friday October 18, 2024: Living Alone; Your First Job; Mommy’s Margarita Friday

Friday October 18, 2024: Living Alone; Your First Job; Mommy’s Margarita Friday

What’s the wildest conspiracy theory that you really believe? Anna heard a podcast, from a relatively successful person, who has the wildest theory about Kanye West!

Are you up to date on this week’s biggest news stories? Anna and Raven will get you caught up on what’s trending, including a 100-year-old time capsule!

What was the first job you ever had? Anna’s daughter has been looking for her first job, but Anna’s confused by her choice of profession…

Do you live alone? What’s the best part? Anna read a study that says single occupancy can have amazing health benefits!

The weekend is here, and that means one thing!  Mommy’s Margarita Friday!  Anna & Raven get the lowdown on what listeners did to earn their me-time this week!

Dylan’s 25th high school class reunion is coming up next weekend and he doesn’t want his wife, Olivia, to go. He says that he’ll go with two of his buddies from high school that he still plays basketball with. She thinks this is super shady and she wants to go, she thinks it’ll be fun! What’s the big deal if she goes too? He says she didn’t go to the high school, why can’t she just stay home, and they can save some money on hiring a babysitter. She thinks he just wants to be big guy on campus and it’s dumb.

Chrissy has got a shot at $500! All she has to do is beat Raven in pop culture trivia!

Kevin and Jenna’s Pet of the Week

Kevin and Jenna’s Pet of the Week

Meet Pickles, our Pet of the Week from CT Humane Society! This sweet 6-year-old female Persian calico is looking for her forever home.

Pickles would love to have a feline friend and might even be open to living with a calm dog or gentle children. She’s a shy girl who needs time to warm up, so a quiet, peaceful home would be the best fit. Once she’s comfortable, she adores getting pets and spending quality time with her favorite people.

Pickles has some special needs. As a Persian, her eyes and face folds need daily cleaning to prevent infection. She’s also had some dental work while in the care of the CT Humane Society and may need additional care in the future.

This cutie pie is available at CT Humane Society’s Westport location and is ready for her new home! To learn more about her, visit her profile at CThumane.org/Adopt. If you’re interested, fill out the adoption questionnaire linked on her profile. If your application is approved, CHS Adoption Counselors will call to schedule an appointment to meet Pickles and learn more about her.

Sing to Me

Sing to Me

Researchers found that women love when men sing to them, but do they really? Raven went around the office to sing to all the women to get their reactions, and it was telling. Catch up in the podcast!

Thursday October 17, 2024: What Women Want; Is Anna Out Of Line; Hit On

Have you ever been in a “Target Stampede”? The new special edition Stanley Cup is here and theater kids are paying the price!

It’s cuffing season and people everywhere are looking to couple up for the holiday season! Maybe that explains why everyone on the show got hit on last weekend…

Are you up to date on this week’s biggest news stories? Anna and Raven will get you caught up on what’s trending, including the passing of a former boy band member!

Research shows that women love when men sing to them… Is that true? Do you love it if your man sings? Raven went around the office to test it out…

Is it ever ok to swear loudly, in public? What if it was in front of children? Anna did it over the weekend, but she has a good reason!

Anna has three crazy news stories, but Raven can only pick one! Today his options are; a hidden suspect, hundreds of free chickens, and apologizing attorneys!

Halloween is right around the corner and one of the biggest stars in the world has announced she’ll be trick or treating for the first time! Anna has got some advice for her, from one mom to another!

Rosa and Lucas’ 11-year-old has started buying and wearing a lot of perfume. She even already asked for one that’s $150 that’s supposed to make you smell a special way based on your DNA. Mom doesn’t think it’s a big deal, but Dad hates it. He hates that she always has a strong smell. He thinks the house constantly smells weird because of her. He thinks it’s inappropriate for a tween to wear any kind of fragrance. He’d rather she wears some make up than perfumes. Mom thinks he’s overreacting, they’re all doing it now and it’s fine. What do you think?

Alex has got a shot at $400! All she has to do is beat Raven in pop culture trivia!
