TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: CT Designer’s Genius Jacket Is a Game-Changer for Sports Fans

TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD: CT Designer’s Genius Jacket Is a Game-Changer for Sports Fans

In today’s Tell Me Something Good story we learn about the Connecticut designer who is getting major attention for uniting fans of different teams under one epic jacket. Alex Ruffin’s “Madison Square Guardian” jacket combines vintage Knicks and Rangers gear into a single, stylish piece that a fan of both teams can wear proudly. Handmade and up-cycled from thrifted items, these jackets have been turning heads from the streets of Connecticut all the way to Madison Square Garden. They’ve even been spotted on some famous pro athletes like Knicks star Jalen Brunson, who has been rocking the $1,400 “Madison Square Guardian” jacket. Yankees star Jazz Chisholm Jr. also was wearing one of Alex’s jackets, the “Hometown Hero” Yankees/Knicks design. A few rappers like Westside Gunn, Anderson .Paak, Lil Yachty and Big Sean are also big fans of Alex’s work.

Alex’s company A Thrifted Temple is now getting a lot of attention in the sports and fashion world. And it all started right here in Connecticut.

Now, me being from Boston, I was shocked to see that even as a NY fan he has created this sweet Celtics/Patriots jacket! You can see all the rest of his creations at athriftedtemple.com
