Cheryl and Chris have a dog and a two-year-old son. The dog has been with them for four years. Their son is too rough with the dog and a few times the dog has scratched him, growled at him, etc. Chris thinks they need to have their puppy go live with her parents (who live about ten minutes away) until their son is older and can understand that he can’t treat an animal that way. He doesn’t want anything to happen to their son. He says once their son is older, the dog returns. Cheryl is against this; she wants her puppy in her house with her. Her son just needs to learn not to mess with the dog. What do you think?
