Every Sunday, Allen and Maureen go to her mother’s house for dinner. And every Sunday it’s the same lasagna that he hates. He’s had enough, his in-laws are always asking him to do chores, he just wants to watch football, and truthfully, the lasagna is awful. He wants her to tell her parents that they’re giving their two weeks’ notice, they’re not doing Sunday dinners at their house anymore. She thinks he’s not being a team player, her parents are older, they need the help, it’s the only time they see her parents (and the kids see her parents) every week. It’ll kill them if he stops coming, they adore him. What do you think?

Meet Dwayne, our Pet of the Week from the CT Humane Society!
Dwayne is a 4-month-old male orange tabby who’s had quite the journey. He was found in a storm drain by local animal control and came to the CHS looking for a fresh start. This sweet boy has been neutered, is up to date on all his vaccines, and is ready to find his forever home!
Dwayne does have a few special needs, and an adoption counselor will be more than happy to go over the details with anyone interested in giving this handsome cat a loving home. He would do best with a family that has experience with shy cats and can be patient as he takes his time to come out of his shell. Once he’s comfortable, he turns into an absolute lovebug!
