Charles’ mother is coming over for Thanksgiving and it’s the first time they’re hosting. She wasn’t happy that they asked to take over the holiday so they could have both families together now that they have a child. (Charles and Alexa’s baby is nine months old) Alexa asked her for her sweet potato recipe and her stuffing recipe so that she could keep that tradition going and honor her mother-in-law. Everyone loves her cooking, and she said no. She said it was up to her to make her own dishes to start new traditions. She wants her husband to ask her for the recipes again and explain that she wants to honor her, not just rip off her recipes.  He says that his mom is being emotional and irrational. He’s not getting involved. He could care less if she bought the sweet potatoes and stuffing, he’s not asking her for the recipes again.
