Jared and Izzy have a 12-year-old daughter, who is a little overweight. Jared was an overweight child and has continued to struggle with his weight as an adult. He wants to send the daughter to a nutritionist/dietician to help. Izzy doesn’t agree. She thinks it’s too early to bring a professional into this. It’s normal at this point in her life. She’s 12 and going through puberty. Izzy wants to work on it together as a family. If they all get more active and introduce healthier snacks, it will benefit the whole family. What do you think?
