Kevin and Jenna’s Pet of the Week!

Kevin and Jenna’s Pet of the Week!

Say hello to Bruce, a 6-year-old male domestic shorthair with a personality as unique as his stunning looks! This beautiful brown and black tabby has a cool and distinct appearance that’s sure to catch your eye. Bruce first arrived at the CT Humane Society way back in April and has come such a long way since then, thanks to the care and dedication of his foster families and medical team.

Bruce has faced some challenges with stomach issues, but daily medication and monitoring have worked wonders to keep him in good shape. Over the months, the CHS medical team has worked tirelessly to find the right treatments and care for him, and now that they’ve developed a plan that works, Bruce is finally ready to find his forever home! He’ll need to continue his medications after adoption and, like all pets, will require regular veterinary checkups to stay healthy.

Bruce is truly a special cat. He’s cuddly, personable, and loves to share quiet moments with his people. Despite being a rather big kitty, Bruce has the cutest, smallest meow—it’s impossible not to fall for him! While he hasn’t had much experience with other pets or children, Bruce is likely open to meeting them through careful introductions and meet-and-greets. Because of his medical history, we recommend that Bruce go to a home with someone who has experience with cats and can provide him the extra care he needs. He’s a quiet, reserved kitty who would thrive in a peaceful home environment.

Bruce is currently being cared for at the Westport location. If you’re ready to meet this gentle giant, adoption applications can be submitted online at CThumane.org/Adopt.
