Happy first day of Fall/Autumn! Today’s mystery why does this season have two names? What’s the difference?
Either Autumn or fall can be used to describe the season between summer and winter. They both mean the same thing in American and British English. Only difference being that fall is used more often in America and that Autumn is considered to be the more formal name for the season.
So if you’re feeling fancy… Happy Autumn.
