One of the biggest decisions we make as parents is decided the name of your child. They will have it for the rest of their lives and sometimes things that are out of your control change everything.
This one mom named her daughter “Delta” 3 years ago. Never in a million years could she have predicted what that word would mean to the world in 2021 with the Delta Variant spreading around the world mid-pandemic. At the time she thought the worst comparison she might get is the airline.
@Delta I feel like we should form an alliance in this matter.

Recently she ranted about it on twitter and the airline noticed. To make the girl feel better about her named they sent the family a gift package with everything branded “Delta” in their gift shop. Even Delta cookies! Super cute idea to put a smile on Delta’s face. Nice job Delta Airlines.
Last week I tweeted about how it was a particularly challenging time for my daughter to be named Delta.
