This is a good story for all the animal lovers.
Tuesday morning a stranded horse was saved from the side of the Branford River. It had got stuck in the mud in the marsh area. Some people say it struggling and called the police. Branford Police, fire, and Animal Control arrived on the scene to help the horse. It was a fantastic community effort by everyone to save the horse who came out of it uninjured.
Maybe they should enter him in the Preakness this weekend to continue the good mojo!
