THE FEED: Star March With Parades, Pop-up Mini Golf, & SLIME!

Every Friday in The Feed Kevin and Jenna talk to Megan from @CampByMama about all the great things to do in Connecticut with the family. As we head into the first weekend of March there is no shortage of fun things to do. Everything from St. Pats Parades to indoor pop-up mini golf, and even SLIME!

 1. St. Patrick’s Day 2024 Parade 2pm in Stamford. Join Star 99.9 and Kevin Begley for a fantastic day of fun. Bring your loved ones to the perfect Family Friendly spot on Summer Street between North St and Broad Street. Enjoy the festive atmosphere with colorful floats, lively music, and the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day! 

2. Tee up at the Stamford Moms Mini Golf Pop-Up at Stamford Town Center! Saturday, March 2, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Sunday, March 3, 11 a.m. – 5 pm.
 Hosted in the storefront on Level 4, Macy’s Wing (the former Express)! Families are invited to play 18 holes of mini golf featuring fun obstacles and themed holes. Face Painting and Glitter Tattoos too. 

3. Greenwich Land Trust – Maple Sugar Day at the Mueller Preserve in Greenwich Saturday March 2 @ 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. Learn all about how the sweet stuff transforms from sap to syrup! Hands-on demonstrations and stations throughout with samples, a food truck, and more

4. Slime of Your Life Sunday, March 3 | 1:00 – 2:30 pm at Newtown Community Center in Newtown. Ages 5-11 Make slime that stretches, bubbles and smells yummy! Each child participant must be registered and adult must also attend.

5. Family Gallery Tours Saturday March 3 @ 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at Bruce Museum in Greenwich. Tour takes children 5 and up, and their caregivers, through the museum’s exhibitions. Families will be able to engage in conversations about the arts, sciences, and do hands-on activities. Tour is free with admission to the Museum.
