Anytime you can raise a whole bunch of money for charity and enjoy some delicious sandwiches at the same time, it’s a win-win all around.
Our friends over at Jersey Mike’s do a big charity event every year called “Day of Giving,” where all the locations around the country donate 100% of the day’s sales to charity. This year they set a new record! Between their 1,900 stores in the U.S., including a bunch here in Connecticut, they donated $15 million, which was almost double their goal!
Here in Connecticut alone they brought in more than $225,000 that all went towards the goal.
I’m a #7 Turkey & Provolone guy myself (Always the Mike’s Way! if you know, you know) Glad to see my lunch went to a record breaking good cause that day.
Thanks to all of your support we raised over $15 MILLION for more than 200 local charities nationwide during our Month of Giving 🤝. We look forward to all that these donations will do to make a difference in local communities ❤️. #JerseyMikesGives https://t.co/1ZJwgzY6Li pic.twitter.com/oRvVv2ALfi
