I’ve heard this since I was a kid that if you eat carrots it will improve your eyesight. I always thought it was just a trick my Mom used to get me to eat more veggies. Turns out there is some truth to it!
Carrots are very rich in something called beta-carotene, which helps your body produce Vitamin A. They are also good for lowering cholesterol levels and yes… for improving vision. Vitamin A helps your eyes convert light to a signal that is sent to the brain, which allows you to see better in low light. Sweet! Night vision. Pass the carrots please!
