3. I buy things I dont need

GAS GOUGING CONCERN IN CONNECTICUT
In the wake of Ike, there are concerns about gas gouging across the country and right here in Connecticut.Major refineries in Ike's path were shutdown in Texas and the Gulf of Mexico. The result? Higher demand on fuel.
Triple A reports gas shot up ten cents Friday into Saturday and now state officials are aggressively monitoring gas prices over the next several days.
Governor Rell asked the Department of Consumer Protection to monitor prices and Attorney General Richard Blumenthal says his office sent out investigators to check prices over the weekend and into the coming week to make sure prices stay fair.
If you suspect gouging call the state hotline at 1-800-824-2649.
